NEW YORK, Sept. 29 — Meurice Garment Care, New York’s most innovative and comprehensive cleaner, announced today special savings on its unique stroller detailing service.

Wayne Edelman, President of Meurice Garment Care, says he was inspired to offer stroller cleaning after his own frustrating experiences mopping up his kids’ ‘Buga-goo.’

“I’ve always enjoyed tinkering,” says Edelman, “and it dawned on me we could dissemble these strollers and run them through our processes in the dry-cleaning plant.”

It’s a welcome change of pace for busy parents with messy kids – and Edelman continues to tweak and refine the service.

Recently, Meurice inked a deal with iconic British buggy manufacturer MacLaren to provide temporary loaner strollers when customers have their carriages in for cleaning – just like when Mom or Dad leave their ride with a garage.

To celebrate, Meurice is offering a 20 percent discount on all stroller cleaning through Oct. 13. Parents can take advantage of the offer at Meurice’s Greenwich Village, Midtown and Manhasset, Long Island locations. And, for those who can’t make it into the store, complimentary pickup and delivery is available as well.

Since introducing stroller detailing a year ago, Edelman estimates he’s cleaned more than 400 strollers. “It’s a hit,” said Edelman. “We want to make it painless to protect your investment.”
