We see it all too often: handbags and purses that are filthy from being left on dirty floors. Not only do icky floors mar your fancy bag, but its also unhygienic to handle anything straight off the same surface your shoes trod. Enter the Purse Valet. These are really handy little portable hooks that easily slip into [...]
It’s a fact of life: stains happen. Still, finding a stain is on your designer handbag (which might have been an investment you’d hoped to get some mileage out of), can be tough to take sitting down. We hear from customers with blemished bags nearly every day, so we understand these incidents are traumatic, and [...]
Now that it finally looks like we may enjoy a complete week of temperatures over 70º, you’ve probably started to think about what to do with your heavy comforters, duvets and coverlets. . Yes, it’s that time again. Spring is in the air. The birds are chirping, the trees are blossuming, and it’s finally too warm outside to wear your Uggs any longer. Don’t put those shearling booties away, just yet, though. Chances are this winter they were exposed to some of the worst NYC has to offer [...]

On Feb. 23rd, ginger-locked gold medalist Shaun White was on hand in NYC to open the New York Stock Exchange. And when he needed the perfect western-style button down to ring in the market, he brought it to Meurice for alterations. Sorry it’s a tiny picture, but we didn’t go to take photos with him [...]

This phil & ted sport stroller came to us a bit haggard. The owner tried cleaning it repeatedly, but the dark splotchy stains came back. When she brought it into us, we saw that we were dealing with a severe case of mold. We disassembled the buggy, cleaned each fabric surface individually, and carefully put [...]

. . Dry Cleaning isn’t peaches; it’s not agriculture. And Dry Cleaners, whether they’re labeled “organic” or not, won’t be showing up at your local farmer’s market any time soon. . So what’s with the “organic” dry cleaner that just popped up on your block? Are you going to have to switch to that guy, [...]
