After the wedding gown is pressed, it’s stuffed with acid-free tissue paper and an acid-free bust form, in order to maintain the gown’s shape. It’s folded (cushioned by further acid-free paper) and packed under the watchful eye of yet another inspector and boxed in a breathable wedding chest. Both the wedding dress and the chest are wrapped using unbleached muslin cloth, which acts as a barrier to protect the gown from dust and moisture. The cloth is easily removed, to allow you to inspect the wedding gown at any time, and we provide a pair of white gloves for easy, safe handling.
